The seasons of Advent and Christmas are here with us again. These are special times when we are reminded of the abundant goodness and love of our God, who became a little child in a manger, to redeem the world. The Holy Childhood Association (HCA) is pleased to thank you for being part of Christ’s mission of love to the vulnerable people in our world today, especially Children.
In his 2023 World Mission Sunday Message with the theme: “Hearts on fire, feet on the move”, Pope Francis wrote; “Therefore, the primary and principal resource of the mission are those persons who have come to know the risen Christ in the Scriptures and in the Eucharist, who carry his fire in their heart and his light in their gaze. They can bear witness to the life that never dies, even in the most difficult of situations and in the darkest of moments”. In this time of economic challenges, you continue to bring the light of Christ to many poor children through the Holy Childhood Association, thank you!
In 2022, your generosity made it possible for the HCA to disburse $274,000 in support of children in Nigeria, India, Tanzania and Thailand to fund catechetical programs, educational supplies, nutrition and feeding programs, clothing assistance, health and care of orphans. This year we rely on your kindness and generosity to raise $275,000 to help thousands of children in Kenya, India, Nigeria, and Zambia.
